Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam has, over the years, under the benign guidance of the Jagadguru Sankaracharya, Guided, encouraged and blessed the setting up of numerous institutions to serve the needs of the poor. The focus areas have been social activities and initiatives in the domains of Culture & Heritage, Veda (Spiritual), Vidya (Education), and Vaidya (Healthcare).
With the abundant blessings from Jagadguru Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Sankaracarya Swamigal, Sri Sankara Kripa Educational and Medical Trust started Sankara College of Nursing (Women) in the year 2021. Since then the college has flourished under the motto of “Humility, Humanity, and Honesty”.
